The Untitled, Open-Ended Study Bible
We’re moving slowly through the Bible.
Every interpretation does not carry equal weight. History, context, scholarship, and the character of Jesus matter. Our attitude of approach matters, too.
We welcome real questions and thoughtful disagreement.
That’s part of taking Scripture seriously.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Hi! We're Megan and David Collins, Co-Pastors at Maitland Presbyterian Church. We've been pastors for 20 years in the PC(USA) and graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary. We love to travel, eat all the things, and go to Silent Discos. We also love our little church in Maitland and the good work we get to do together.
In January of 2026, we started a multi-year study of the entire Bible with our church. We would love for you to join us.
The Bible is a complicated book, and has been used in too many ways that have caused harm and confusion. Taking Scripture seriously means not ignoring difficult passages, but engaging them in their historical context and original languages. The full story the Bible tells is one of God’s expansive love, the full inclusion of all people, a call to justice, solidarity with the oppressed, and care for the world God loves.
Over the next few years, we’ll explore the Bible texts as one connected story, grounded in the life and teachings of Jesus. We’ll ask good questions, take extra time with verses that have traditionally caused harm, and listen for how God is still speaking. We don't pretend to the experts on any of this, but we would love for you to read along with us.
